Frequently Asked Questions

What is an internet pharmacy?

The aim of internet pharmacies is to ensure that everybody, wherever they live, has access to pharmaceutical services. The main difference between an internet pharmacy and a community pharmacy is that the customer shops online or by telephone, and then the items are delivered to the customer.

Are internet pharmacies regulated?

Before an official internet pharmacy can start trading an application must be made to the Primary Care Trust (PCT) where it is situated, and the premises must be approved by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB).
Official internet pharmacies will also be subject to regular inspections from both of the above authorities.

Do internet pharmacies offer a full service?

We will offer a full prescription service (NHS and private prescriptions) and will also sell a wide range of medicines and other health related products. We will also offer other services that you would expect from a retail pharmacy such as advice and disposal of unwanted medicines.

How safe are internet pharmacies?

It is advisable to only use official internet pharmacies that are registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPSGB).

Our pharmacy will be totally secure and will be run by an United Kingdom registered pharmacist. Also all our medicines will be sourced from the same United Kingdom manufacturers and wholesalers that other pharmacies in the United Kingdom use.
